Sometimes, I forget that the point of being more productive at work is to have more free time for the activities I value the most. I am glad today was not one of those times!
I was able to go see my daughter, Ella, share her knowledge on Utah’s history in her elementary school program—all because I am more focused and productive when working.
By being more productive, I free up time to be there for my kids.

*Eliminate unnecessary distractions like phone notifications when you need to focus.
*Set aside specific times to check emails or other messages and only check during those scheduled times.
